The Karoo Desert National Botanical
Garden is one of a countrywide network
of eight botanical gardens administered
by The South African Biodiversity Institute
The gardens are set in the magnificent
surroundings of the Hex River Mountain
Range and concentrates on plants from arid
or semi-desert parts of the country. The
garden has a Braille trail especially for the
blind.
