Gansbaai is the place that the Southern Right Whale calls home from
June to November each year. Towering over Walker Bay, the cliffs
of De Kelders and the sandy beaches of Pearly Beach are excellent
land-based whale viewing spots. Although the Southern Right Whales
can be easily observed from shore, watching them from a boat just
above the water surface is a totally awesome experience!
