Gansbaai boasts with the Marine Big 5 – namely seals, penguins,
sharks, dolphins and whales! Dyer Island can be seen looming on
the horizon where the vulnerable African penguins and endangered
Bank Cormorants breed. Adjacent is Geyser Rock with a colony of
60,000 Cape Fur Seals. The channel between the two islands is now
the world renowned “Shark Alley”- home to the Great White Shark!
